Bill Laird, Today’s Group Managing Director said:

Our move from Stoneleigh to Ascot signifies our desire to provide the biggest and most successful trade show in the wholesale sector. Almost 2 million cases were sold at our 2014 event and next year I confidently predict a big increase because:

  • Ascot Racecourse is a stunning environment, geared up for great business
  • Mainstream, Food Service, Licensed, Non Food – all under one roof
  • We are offering supplier partners an innovative range of stand designs
  • The 2015 show will be exclusively a wholesale member-only environment

This is not just another trade show – this is THE industry trade show

Trade Show Speakers Announced!

This year’s trade show promises to be the best yet, with the very best known national and global brands in the industry will be showcasing their products across 130 innovative stands. With all trading categories covered, we hope the event will help our members seal great deals with some brilliant suppliers.

However, the show would not be complete without some leisure time and we are pleased to announce that our speakers for 2015 will be Rugby greats Ian Robertson and Jason Leonard.

With the Rugby Union World Cup being staged in England and Wales in September, it felt appropriate to celebrate this memorable year for sport by inviting the BBC’s ‘Voice of Rugby’ and England’s most capped player to speak at our Trade Show.

A former player himself, Ian Robertson is now best known as the BBC’s official Rugby Union correspondent. Taking up the mantel in 1983, he has entertained audiences on air and on television during some of the most high profile Rugby matches. His best ‘on air’ moments include Scotland’s 1984 and 1990 Grand Slams and Jonny Wilkinson’s 2003 World Cup winning drop kick.

Jason Leonard OBE is a world class Rugby Player, retaining the title of England’s Most Capped Player. Due to become the President of the Rugby Football Union (RFU) in July, Leonard’s career has seen him play for a number of high profile teams, retiring from professional rugby in 2004. He was inducted into the Rugby Hall of Fame in 2007.
