UK Avian Flu Outbreak

wholesale-growth-268x141As a result of a recent Avian Influenza outbreak in the UK, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) in Northern Ireland has introduced new import licensing requirements for fresh/chilled/frozen poultry meat, heat treated poultry meat and whole fresh eggs, egg derivatives, processed poultry feathers & compound feeding stuffs containing protein of poultry origin from Great Britain.

Poultry refers to hens, turkeys, guinea fowl, ducks, geese, quails, pheasants, pigeons and partridges.
